Me
My name is Karl. I write things.
I write songs, I write stories, and as of more recently, I write this blog. Right here is where you’ll be able to read everything about what I write, as well as most of it.
I’ve spent my life so far studying music and screenplay writing, and working as a freelance musician, actor, sound tech, and ice cream salesman. I will talk about all of that in this blog, and since we live in such rapidly changing times, I will probabaly also talk some about politics, and how I try to ensure that I’ll be able to spend my time creating things, without having to do other things just to make a living.
I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. That does seem to have an impact on what I do, and how well I manage to reach out with what I do, so I just might write about that as well.
I have a couple of bands I call my own, and I play in several others. Most notably I play bass on progressive metal band Darkwater‘s debut album “Calling the Earth to Witness” and the more recent first release by country/americana-band Little Green. That album is called “Crossing Lanes”. Both have recieved very good reviews in their respective communities.
I also write prose and screenplays. I do most of that kind of writing in Swedish, but I will still pubilsh things here, as well as talk about the proces of writing it, and the proces of getting people to read it.
